One hour ago: I am halfway through comprehensive exams.
53 hours ago: I had lunch with someone really high up in my field.  And he paid.  I could hardly eat I was so excited.

I am blogging live from Seattle.  Very exciting!
I am at the most amazing conference ever.  I am thrilled to be meeting and greeting with thousands (yes, thousands) of people in my field.  Many of them adore their jobs and I have spent most of the last few days feeling richly inspired.
