The next morning I got up at 4:30.  It was Carrie Underwood day.
My peeps and I arrived at the Grand Ole Opry House at 6:30.  There were nearly 100 people there when we arrived.  I had no idea what I was getting into.

Tootsie’s was crawling with people.  All eyes were on the far too muscular musician leading the crowd in a very very popular old country song.  It was kind of like church, actually.  Only, it was a bar.

All I could think was, I think that is the biggest scariest guy I have ever seen.
So there I was, standing in front of this giant bouncer asking for my ID.  I think he could have crushed my head between his toes.

I waited for a moment.  I secretly hoped there was some colossal mistake.  Maybe I was on a TV show.
